Jakarta, May 22, 2026 – Amidst the rampant rise of digital financial threats, PT Karya Technik Multifinance (KTM) has taken concrete steps to protect all elements of its organization. On Friday, May 22, 2026, PT KTM successfully held an internal Financial Literacy Seminar with a highly relevant theme: “Understanding the Dangers of Illegal Investment and Online Gambling.”
The event, which ran from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM WIB, represents PT KTM’s active participation in supporting National Financial Literacy Month, as well as the company’s tangible commitment to safeguarding the well-being and integrity of its employees.
Recognizing that fraudulent schemes are becoming increasingly sophisticated, the seminar featured two internal speakers who are experts in their fields: Mr. Gerry Sandric from the Marketing team and Mrs. Vonny Madya as the Compliance Director of PT KTM.
During their presentations, the speakers thoroughly unpacked the realities on the ground regarding fraudulent schemes disguised as investments, complete with the characteristics of illegal entities that people must watch out for. Not only that, but significant attention was also given to the widespread phenomenon of online gambling. The discussion addressed not just financial losses, but also the psychological and social impacts that can ruin the future of individuals and their families.
The interactive delivery of the material sparked high enthusiasm, which was evident from the active Q&A session involving all attending PT KTM employees.
Through this educational initiative, PT KTM reaffirms its commitment to continuously support the Financial Education and Literacy programs launched by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
PT KTM believes that a safe and sustainable financial ecosystem must begin within the immediate environment. By equipping its internal team to be financially savvy, PT KTM is ready to create a healthy work environment with high integrity, resilient enough to face the challenges of the digital era.
