Jakarta, October 30, 2025 – PT KTM proudly announced its successful collaboration with the University of Indonesia in organizing a Financial Literacy Seminar titled “Understanding Financing in the Maritime Industry.” Through this seminar, PT KTM introduced the important role of financing companies in supporting the national maritime sector, particularly in ship financing and the procurement of maritime industry equipment.

In his opening remarks, the President Director of PT Karya Technik Multifinance stated, “We aim to encourage the younger generation to understand the importance of financial literacy, especially in strategic sectors such as maritime, which holds great potential for the national economy.”

The seminar featured an experienced speaker, Mr. Sim Idrus Munandar, the President Commissioner of PT KTM and an alumnus of the University of Indonesia, Class of 1974. He shared his insights and experiences in the fields of financing and the maritime industry, captivating around 100 participants consisting of students and lecturers.

Through this event, PT KTM reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support Financial Education and Literacy Programs in line with the guidelines of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The company also emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to prepare the younger generation to contribute to building a sustainable financial ecosystem.
